Sunno is an emotional listening service operated by Shriya Thondamuthur, accessible at www.sunno.co.in. We offer private, non-clinical listening sessions with a trained human listener.

When you book a session, we collect:

Your first name
Your email address
Your mobile number
Your preferred language
Optional context about what you want to discuss (only if you choose to share it)
Payment confirmation (we do not store card details — UPI transactions are processed directly through your UPI app)

We do not collect government IDs, Aadhaar, PAN, or any sensitive financial information.

3. How We Use Your Information

To send you your session confirmation and join link
To send a post-session feedback request
To manage your referral code and reward points
To contact you about cancellations or rescheduling
To improve the quality of our service

We do not use your information for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to your Sunno session.

4. Session Confidentiality

What you share during your session is private. Your listener (currently Shriya Thondamuthur, the founder) treats all session content as strictly confidential.

Sessions are not recorded without your explicit, prior written consent. No session content is stored, shared, or used in any way without your permission.

We will never share what you said in a session with anyone — not family members, not employers, not any third party — under any circumstances, except where required by Indian law to prevent imminent harm.

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share your data with advertisers or marketing companies.

We use the following trusted third-party services to operate Sunno:

Calendly — for scheduling (governed by Calendly's privacy policy)
EmailJS — for sending confirmation and feedback emails
UPI payment apps — your payment is processed directly through your UPI app; we do not handle or store payment credentials

6. Data Retention

We retain your booking information for a maximum of 12 months for service quality and dispute resolution purposes, after which it is deleted. You may request deletion at any time by emailing sunno.officialbusiness@gmail.com.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data
Withdraw consent at any time

8. Cookies

Our website uses minimal browser storage (localStorage) only to save your referral code and reward points on your own device. We do not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies.

Sunno is intended for individuals aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under the age of 18. If you believe a minor has used our service, please contact us immediately.
